Find out why Miele vacuum cleaners are so popular and discover the perfect one to suit your unique cleaning needs.

Technology

Enjoy spotless results minus the hard work with Miele's Vortex Technology, with speeds of up to 100km/hr, the vacuum rapidly collects mess and separates coarse substances from the fine dust. Fine dust gets trapped within the vacuum's filters for further filtration. The innovative BrilliantLight LED floorhead of the stick vacuum cleaners helps you track every single speck of dust, so that you don't miss a spot!

Performance

Rest and relax at home confidently and hygienically with maintenance-free HEPA filters that capture and filter 99.9%*1 of all microscopic particles and allergens, removing them from the air. Miele's hygiene filters are also made from recycled plastic, delivering sustainable cleaning that is perfect for all homes, especially those with Asthma and allergies. The Miele range of stick vacuum cleaners also boast up to 120 minutes of cordless cleaning time (in models with 2x battery packs), delivering longer, fuss-free cleaning around your home.

Corded Canister Vacuum Cleaners vs Stick Vacuum Cleaners

There's a Miele vacuum cleaner to suit any home and cleaning lifestyle. The most common vacuum cleaner types are Corded Canister Vacuum Cleaners and Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaners. The former is characterised by their corded operation which must be plugged in to operate, delivering powerful suction to easily pick up any mess. Corded Canister Vacuum Cleaners may be bagged or bagless. Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaners use a disposable bag that traps dirt and the bag must be replaced once full. On the other hand, Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaners feature a filter that traps dirt and a reusable collection bin that collects mess, which must be emptied once full. Corded Canister Vacuum Cleaners are ideal for larger homes to ensure interruption-free whole home cleaning; however they may prove to be harder to move up and down stairs due to their larger size and weight, when compared to stick vacuum cleaners.

Offering cordless freedom, a Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner is lightweight and can be carried effortlessly to clean any part of your home without the need to plug into the power main. Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner do require charging to facilitate the cordless cleaning. Many Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaners can be converted into a handheld model to help clean other surfaces around the home such as benchtops and car seats.

Canister Vacuum Cleaners

TrackDrive technology, featured in Miele's Boost CX1 range of canister vacuum cleaners allow them to be incredibly manoeuvrable in tight spaces. The two large wheels coupled with the two caster wheels makes the unit incredibly stable while giving you the ability to move around furniture as the vacuum follows. The side wheel prevents the vacuum from bumping into anything. The height-adjustable Comfort telescopic tube gives you the ability to achieve the right height to suit your needs as you're cleaning around the home.

3-in-1 Stick Vacuum Cleaners

Enjoy greater flexibility with three modes with Miele's cordless stick vacuum cleaners, like the Triflex HX2 Cat&Dog Plus.

  • 'Reach' mode has the vacuum unit at the top of the handle so that you can have the freedom to move the telescopic tube easily under low furniture or to lift it up to get dust off the ceiling.

  • 'Comfort' mode sees the vacuum unit located at the bottom of the tube and makes it more lightweight to hold so that you can easily clean large areas. In 'comfort' mode, the vacuum can also be self-standing should you need to leave it and take a short break.

  • 'Compact' mode is a handheld design and uses the vacuum unit only, so that you can easily clean smaller spaces such as benchtops, sofa and car seats, and pet beds.
