The Smart Pet Feeder (CP-JNF01FW) & Smart Water Fountain (CP-JNW01FW) may have potential risk that the Power Adaptor plug may break apart and expose live parts.

Identification

Batch Numbers: 2320, 2322 & 2401
Sold approximately 17th August 2023 – 8th November 2024

Defect

Potential risk that the Power Adaptor plug may break apart and expose live parts. This poses a risk of serious injuries or death, and damage to property.

Hazards

Risk of electric shock or serious Injury.

Action Required

Stop using the product immediately, switch off at the power point and then check the product for the affected part number and batch number. If the product has the affected part number and batch number, then please contact Panasonic Australia by telephone or email with the details to organise a free of charge replacement Power Adaptor and to organise to return the recalled Power Adaptor.

The BS28200 & BS28130 refrigerator may have a fault which can cause it to catch on fire. This poses a risk of serious injuries or death, and damage to property.

Identification

 Model Numbers: BS28200 & BS28130.
Serial Number ranges: 72900000 to 95299999, and 00100000 to 04599999 only.
Certificate number SGS/180357, OTR200146, OTR200271.
Sold approximately July 2017 – November 2021 (Manufactured July 2017 - November 2020)

Defect

The refrigerator may have a fault which can cause it to catch on fire. This poses a risk of serious injuries or death, and damage to property.

Hazards

There have been multiple fires in these refrigerators causing property damage and injury

Action Required

Turn the refrigerator off immediately and unplug it from the electricity supply. Contact Electrolux to arrange for a full refund.

Bissell - Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Floor Cleaners (Models 2582H and 2588F)

Bissell advise they have recalled their Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Floor Cleaners (model numbers 2582H and 2588F). This is due to an electrical safety issue where some circuit boards in the battery may overheat and catch fire, with a risk of fire or burns. 

Identification

 Cordless wet/dry combination vacuum floor cleaners (model numbers 2582H and 2588F). Model numbers can be found on the rating label behind the water tank. You need to remove the water tank to see the rating label.

Recalled models were sold between 1 June 2019 and 30 September 2022.

Defect

In rare instances, some battery management circuit boards may be susceptible to localized hot spots. 

Hazards

Risk of overheating and possible risk of fire.

Action Required

  1. Stop using your cordless wet/dry vacuum floor cleaner immediately and check the rating label to see if it is a recalled model.
  2. If it is a recalled model, stop using the product, remove it from the charging base and unplug the base.
  3. Register your details at https://bissell.com.au/pages/recall to receive a replacement.
  4. Bissell will send a pre-paid Australia Post label to you to return the handle to Bissell for verification.
  5. Responsibly dispose of your recalled model. Contact your local council or visit https://recyclingnearyou.com.au/ for information about e-waste disposal services for products containing batteries in your area. Do not put battery or electrical products in your recycling or waste bins.

Sunbeam - Aeroglide Rapid SR6370 Iron

Sunbeam advise that they have identified a limited batch of Aeroglide Rapid SR6370 Steam irons IPN 665886 that don't meet Australian Safety standard 60335.2.3.

Identification

 Aeroglide Rapid model number SR6370, type 1128 2000 – 2400W, and the date code 5216.

Defect

This is an isolated issue that effects a small number of irons sold from 11th Jan - 30th June 2017.

Hazards

Did not meet quality and safety standards

Action Required

Stop using the machine, and return the product to Sunbeam for a full refund or a higher valued product replacement.

Breville - Fast Slow Cooker

In 2016 the BPR200 Fast Slow Cooker was recalled due to a product safety concern related to its Lid Gasket.

Identification

 Units sold between October 2010 and 2015 through electrical retailers and department stores nationally.
Production date code (PDC) 1034 - 1511 inclusive of the production date can be found within the rating label. The rating label is located on the back of the unit.
Only BPR200 units with a white silicone lid gasket are affected.

Defect

People have been injured because pressure has built up and released unexpectedly when the white lid gasket has been inserted in the wrong orientation, and contrary to the instructions manual.

Hazards

Scalding - incorrect fitting of the supplied white lid gasket may result in release of hot liquids.

Action Required

Customers can continue to use the appliance safely by following these easy instructions:

Check that the lid gasket is installed correctly before each use. Instructions are provided in the appliance instruction manual and can also be found at www.breville.com.au/recall.
Do not lean across the vent while depressurising.
Do not force the appliance open. After depressurising, it should be possible to open the appliance using one hand.
Do not move the appliance when under pressure.

Kenwood - Food Processor

A quality issue has been identified that impacts Kenwood Food Processor Models FPM800 and FPM810 regarding the "Julienne" disc. 

Identification

 Kenwood have issued a recall for Food Processor models FPM800 and FPM810 manufactured from January 2019 through December 2021 that include the affected "Julienne" disc.

Defect

The "Julienne" disc may detach. This is an isolated issue and no other discs or food processors are affected. 

Hazards

Potential ingestion risk. 

Action Required

We ask customers to stop using the "Julienne" disc and register through the Kenwood website for a  free replacement disc.

Dixie - Recliner Cupholder Disconnect Notice (Macpherson/Juliet, Paramount and Jordan)

The Electric cup holder may overheat, which may result in the surrounding material of the recliner/sofa catching fire. 

Identification

 The Electric Cup Holder (with Light) component in the Macpherson/Juliet, Paramount and Jordan 2 Seater Electric Recliner Suites installed in each armrest.

Defect

The only issue the recliners/sofas have is with the LED light for the electric cup-holders in the armrests.

Hazards

The electrical components of the cup-holder may overheat, which may result in the surrounding material of the recliner/sofa catching fire.

Action Required

Customers should disconnect the electric cup-holder in the manner described below:

  • Turn off the electricity supply to the recliner/sofa and unplug from the wall outlet.
  • Place the recliner/sofa upside down.
  • Unzip the fabric on the bottom of the armrest.
  • Reach inside the armrest and unplug the cable supplying power to the electric cup-holder (as shown in the adjacent image).
  • Return the unplugged cable inside the armrest and zip the armrest back up.
  • Repeat steps 3-5 for the other armrest.
    Thereafter, the recliner/sofa may be used normally (including other powered functions).

A quality issue has been identified that impacts cyan and yellow ink supplies with product numbers HP 905/915/935 in specific production lots from Malaysia. Customers may experience poor colour print quality and should return impacted ink immediately.

A quality issue has been identified that impacts cyan and yellow ink supplies.

None

Action Required

Check dates on the back of the following cartridges. IF the date on the back is between 1 APR 2022 and 18 SEP 2022 AND is a 905 / 915 / 935 in CYAN or YELLOW AND country of origin is MALAYSIA, this stock should be returned.
